Wonderful. Oduduwa a gbe gbogbo wa o.
If Yoruba can come together this time ,The Odùduwà Republic we cone to reality
I support Yoruba Nation
Oduaa people are found in large numbers across the globe, notably in West Africa sub regional countries like Benin, Ivory Coast, Burkina and in other countries in the Caribbean, South America country of Brazil and in the US.
Based on this, our history dated back far in history and our culture of Omoluabi is second to none across the globe.
We need a nation where we can harness our potentials and build our nation to start from where our patriotic leaders of old western region stopped the good work of viable and promising nationhood before the military intervention by the Fulani hegemony in 1966.
Thank you very much my Omoluwabi brother it shall be well you and all of us that wish well for the great yoruba nation.
This is a dream come true for our generation and I look forward to support this liberation dream.

Prof. Banji Akintoye gave a comprehensive brief on “The Yoruba World Congress” as to her Objectives (Mission & Vision) @ the National Executive Meeting of Afenifere late in November 2019. It was more or less an Enlightenment Speech.
That I’m alive to witness this progressive move , liberating Our Nation, Yoruba Nation from slavery, is more than achievement of a life time.
I’m the happiest man in the face of the earth today.
To those of you out there, passing through all thick and thing to make this a reality, THE LIVING GOD, THE GOD OF OUR FOREFATHERS, THE LORD JESUS SHALL ALWAYS BE WITH YOU AND YOUR FAMILIES.
Thank you so very much.
My candid advice is ; in order to excel the following attributes should come to play as we progress : WILL, ENERGY, COMMITMENT, INTEGRITY, SENSE OF PURPOSE, ZEAL and ANTECEDENCE OF LEADERSHIP.
May God help us all. Amen.
To those of you out there, passing through all thicks and thins
It is a welcome idea please let us ride on.
I can’t wait to see Oduduwa Nation to become a reality.
All People in diaspora want to come home to establish one business to provide Employment opportunities for the young ones.
I have joy hearing Yoruba will soon leave this Egypt called Nigeria hopefully before 2023 general election.
OMo Oodua Ile ya
I wish to humbly express my appreciations to our eminent Leader, erudite scholar and a Father, the National President of the Yoruba World Congress, Prof Banji Akintoye for his enormous and assiduous commitments, sacrifices, courage and giants strides towards the actualisation of our agenda, vision, template and focus as a Nation and as a People of the Yoruba extractions.
Sir, it’s my fervent prayers that God will strengthen you the more in sound health and in fitness. You will life to witness the actualisation of our dream as a Yoruba Nation in Jesus mighty name.
To all our other vibrant leaders, compatriots, stakeholders and accolades, i wish to humbly say that, there couldn’t be any other better time and chance to get our dream fulfilled than now.
Indeed, it’s incumbent in us to approach this vision in a synergy to reposition ourselves as a people to get our socio- economic and political bearings in these many Nations in a single entity called Nigeria. We have a root, we belong to the same source of origin called ODUDUWA as a Nation.
We can’t pretend as nothing has gotten wrong in Nigeria socio-cultural, economic and political positions of Nigeria.
Its time to redefine and historically reshape and redraw the Map of the entity called Nigeria, a mere geographical expression as aptly opined by our late sage, Chief Jeremiah Obafemi Awolowo.
It’s politically instructive, that all our political stakeholders and our elder statesmen should bear in minds that, Yoruba Kingdom can stand on its own as a Nation in Nigeria without the North.
We have what it takes, both in manpowers, virile and resourceful large numbers of educated and professional youths, eminently qualified personalities in all fields of human endeavours, we have favourable weather, suitable and fertile agricultural land, natives guards, untaped mineral Resources any society or people needed in the World for a World standard class socio- economic and political growth development and sustainability.
As as people and as a Nation we are ready and resolutely determined.
God be on our sided
My best rgds
What a giant step towards true freedom! The process of self-determination, independence and accountable leadership has just been planted. Thanks to our leaders & elders.
Efforts in self rediscovery and realization which leads ( or will )lead to national development.
I am elated and absolutely pleased to finally see some traction toward self actualization.
United we stand
I please want the organizers to screen the participants thoroughly to prevent strangers from participating.
Dont really know how this will achieved but it is certainly critical and essential. Perhaps membership should include authenticated references etc. I am mighty glad to be witnessing this new beginning. Enough is certainly enough.
I am very happy reading the post about this development. I wish it materialized as soon as possible. God help us—Yoruba Nation and all our leaders that God are using as instruments.
Amen
Sir about the migration of almajiris and the Fulani to the South West it’s becoming everyday movement please the leaders should do something about it before is too late thank you
Thank you so much
sir, please I which this our awareness of upcoming meeting should translated to yorùbá so many people can understand it because it is not all of we are literate.thanks
I love yoruba tribe so much
We need massive grassroots awareness.
We must not take recent appointment of Prof Gambari lightly. As an astute Diplomat he coming in to do some game. Let bring in our best brain in diplomatic circle that can withstand him. The likes of Prof. Akinyemi.
1.Great Initiative within context of Nigeria constitution agreed with Britain at Independence only that guaranteed regional autonomy and 50% revenue derivation 2. Contribution to and participation on equal representation of regions with centre for defence, foreign affairs only. 3. Regions to jointly produce policies for common areas with centre not unitary covering education, health, agriculture with regional delivery responsibilities. 4. Region to democratize with zero tolerance for corruption under the rule of law with accused proof innocence French system and 30 – 180 days justice delivery system. 5.Federal, regional, states and local government police security architecture.
I thank you all for organizing this. New dawn and new beginningPlease send me phone number of prof Banji Akintoye.
Good attempt long overdue
The admission of World Yoruba Congresd into the UNPO is the best thing to happen to.the Yoruba Race
There is time for everything in life. I am delighted that ‘am alive to witness a new dawn in the history of my race. When ones travail becomes too difficult one needs to slow down and ruminate over his escapades and create a new futuristic ideology that will make his journey faster and loaded with great results. All our days from 1959 till date were our locust years but kudos to our illustrious fathers to have summoned up courage for a new dawn in the annals of historic circumstances. We are just starting but I can see light after the tunnel.
I am more than happy to see Oduduwa republic in my generation
Membership of the Yoruba Nation as 45th Member of UNPO is a BIG print on the international plane.
We commend our indefatigable leaders for making this feat possible.
May your days be long in good health and wealth.
All Yoruba should speak in one voice
Omo ODUDUWA ni mi oooo
Thank all the good leaders for the good jobs doing
Nice one
Good work from our dear Father & Leader Prof. Akintoye Banji, you have started a taxing assignment, God will protect you and you will not disappear on the day we shall raise the FLAG of Yoruba Nations, lagbara awon alale ile Oduduwa ati lagbara Eledumare, aaamin ase.
Isokan Omo Oduduwa Lominira Omo Oduduwa
Oduduwa republic is not negotiable ….it is long overdue , in God we trust .

Let us have work plan on how to actualise Oodua Republic
We are needs to unites as one body so that we can unity to be independent in our mother land achieving our position in the modern world.
Congratulations. Your work is quite appreciated. The goal should be ODUDUWA REPUBLIC. We are no longer interested in RESTRUCTURING of Nigeria. May God bless you Sirs.
Long live the Yoruba Race.
Are you carrying the leadership of other Yoruba groups along, eg, Afenifere. Etc
I believe the time is right to make inroad and transform the Yorubas to the forefront of the world map with significant effrontery of world class Par level in all arsenal of human economy and technology with the kind lethargy our people is known for, thanks.
I just want to adjust the typo on my comment I think the phone changed the word.
believe the time is right to make inroad and transform the Yorubas to the forefront of the world map with significant effrontery of world class Par level in all arsenal of human economy and technology with the kind of sinewy our people is known for, thanks.
I’m a Yoruba man, and amore interested in Yorba self determination
The recording above should have been done in our language not in a foreign language. We should be carefull our culture is fast eroding and some miss interpreted
This is a great achievement on our struggle but I would rather want us to use the organisation to pursue Yoruba regional government for now rather than outright Self Sovereignty.
This might help us to stand and unite as one
God bless oduduwa republic again
Glory! When the right time comes all long awaited doors will suddenly swing open even of their own accord. Surely, Yorùbá will be free!
It is time we separate from this country. Nobody can change the attitude of the Fulani’s with their Feudal system. The Fulani enslaved Hausa since 1804. The same Fulani Emirates have captured many parts of the north and also killing at various areas of middle belt. Majority of Fulani from Sudan, Niger, and Chad possessed Nigeria National ID Card and Voters Registration Card. These are part of the reasons why Fulani people believe they will totally take over Nigeria. President Buhari actually died in 2017, and I was fortunate to read and save Qneen of England Condolence Message to Nigeria the same day.
Now, bringing a Sudanese (a foreigner), to rule this country implies Nigeria is no more.
Late Chief Obafemi Awolowo demanded for Eleven (11) regions in order to take care of minorities but Zik and Sadauna frustrated the plan. Restructuring cannot work in Nigeria.
Inspire of Regional system, Zik and Sadauna(Fulani) still manipulated in the west, leading to riot with many people died.
Nnmdii Kanu is only good in attacking Awolowo and the Yorubas. He never accused Zik that destroyed Nigeria. Instead of Zik accepting to become the first Prime Minister on the invitation from Chief Obafemi Awolowo and Anthony Enahoro, he dodged the group and ran to Sadauna to become the President ( Vice position). He did that with an hidden intention, thinking the northern people were not educated. Hence, he can control Nigeria with his Ibo people. The Ibo (now Igbo) actually occupied major positions. ( that was when the Ibos referred themselves as ” I before others”, Ibo). When disagreement arose with the northern group_ Zik then wanted the Yorubas to support him. Stupid, after “his betrayal of trust attitude.”
Awolowo rejected presidency request from Sadauna on the ground that a country cannot be be ruled without opposition. Nkrumah of Ghana was not happy with Zik, saying, the Fulani leadership will set Nigeria backward. He neglected the idea.
The NCNC was formed by the Yoruba, through the leadership of Herbert Macurley (the grandson of Bishop Samuel Ajayi Crowder) with his colleague, Henry Carr of Abeokuta, if I still remember. But when when Zik became NCNC president, he manipulated it as his eastern party.
Major part of financing Nigeria is from Yoruba land. Yet, Yoruba is treated like slaves. “Monkey dey work Baboon dey chop.”
Yoruba is leading in many specialized areas, including education, but Fulani is reaping everything, occupying almost all positions, controlling all financial resources, kidnapping, killing, rapping, inviting other Fulani from other west African countries to come and completely take over Nigeria, and
also perform other deadly activities.
Note that Yoruba kogi, from Egbe to Lokoja, Yoruba kwara extended to Jebba are fully Yorubas. No more referendum required. It was successfully conducted before 1960 led by Olawoyin of Offa.
Note at the same time that the people of Ogori-Magogo in kogi Central, sharing boundary with Ibilo in Edo state are Yorubas. Also note that some other part of Kogi central are Yorubas.
Benin, Akoko Edo and Warri are Yorubas. Biafra are planning to take these areas over. It must not be allowed to happen.
The issue of Afonja of Ilorin must now be a priority. Emir in Yoruba land must be eliminated.
There are other things to be deliberated upon, but time will not permit me now.
Christ told his disciples to acquire sword for defending themselves inspire of the promise of the Holy Spirit that will take over to remind and guide them. Therefore, Yoruba wake up. No more restructuring. No waiting for 2023, but “Oduduwa Republic is inevitable now.”
I salute the efforts of Professor Banjo Akintoye for his leadership role. I also appreciate the role of the Yoruba Obas, OPC, YOLICOM, Agbekoyas etc.
Long live Yoruba People.
I meant to type United States of Africa.
This is a very welcoming development which most people are happy to embrace. This means we the Oduduwa’s are
heading somewhere now. May almighty God bless our fathers especially Professor Adebanji who have been agitating for this . God bless . I truly appreciate it
A sign of good things to come for the Yoruba nation, I give kudos to our indefatigable Professor Banji Akintoye and his team. Better days ahead.
No comment as at present.
A great accomplishment
I fully support what this organization is doing, so that oduduwa republic can come because Nigeria will never work.
This is very good step a for Yoruba to get their own independence from the cabals
It’s ok
Good well-done God bless you all
It’s welcome development
.A journey of One thousand miles is started by taking a step, when we get to the looloo the anus will open.Any Yoruba indigene that is not knowing what is going on in the country is a bastard. When the flag is off,we shall know how to solve our internal problems. With God all things are possible.Long live the Yoruba race.
Having been born, bred, educated and nurtured in an environment of Omoluwabi in which peace, tranquility, progress and development, being championed by a Government that could study and run programmes that were of optimal benefit to the people, The Western Region Government, with all the freedom to do that which was best for it’s citizens before the Unitary Government introduced by the Military, which the Hausa/Fulani took advantage of, I am the happiest man in the world to see this new development, where the Yorùbás can take our destinies in our hands. It’s the greatest thing that has ever happened to us this past 54years of slavery. Let’s all of us rally round to make it a huge success.
Yoruba gbudo ronu lasiko yi

This worthwhile course shall not fail and it shall fulfill its intended purpose fully in the name of Jesus Christ and every Judas Iscariot among Yoruba nation that want to betray this God ordained course, the good Lord shall turn every of their evil gangs up cum evil intentions into foolishness and they shall never recover from every of their folly steps.
Good job well done by the Yoruba elders for our race.
This is brilliant idea. Thanks so much.
Thank God we moving in the right direction

Congratulations to all my Yoruba World Leaders.
My Lords, let us go at once and possess our possession.
Sir(s), what are we waiting for ?
Good of you all !
Keeping Nigeria as it is today is detrimental to the future and present generations of Yoruba Face. The giant step should be taken now. Enough of these motions without movement.
Yoruba is the best
A welcome development and right step in the right direction. The effort is highly commendable.
The spirits of our ancestors will bless you
Thank you
I am happy to hear this great news. Many thanks to Professor Banji Akintoye. Almighty God will continuously strenghten you and your team. Enough is enough!
This is really only good thing that will happen to Yoruba in life, thank you very much professor Banji Akintoye and his team, Oodua a fun wa se ooo.
Indeed we should all commend our amiable Professor. We should take some steps further by putting in place various bodies to prepare blueprint for our socioeconomic development including revisiting Chief Obafemi Awolowo’s development agenda for Yorubaland. We should assemble our experts in Economics, Commerce, Agriculture, Science & Technology, I.T, Finance, Education, and other spheres with a view to set template for Yorubaland development as a guide for our future politicians in order to avoid political merchants from hijacking Yorubaland politics. We should not wait any longer. And members should be drawn from across the globe.
The Yoruba Nation is witnessing a great dawn.
It confirms that the Yoruba Nation is blessed with great minds able to execute the great plans that will ensure we cross the bridge to freedom seamlessly.
Potential betrayers get lost,
NOW !!!
Its a greater joy to see our elders waking up to the task. Enough of oppressor, sincerely speaking the Yoruba is over due as a nation on its own the Lord in his mercy shall see us through in Jesus powerful name
Being awake from slumber now is God’s providence. Never too late. I thought NADECO Days are gone, but structures put in place are weak or human capital to prosecute strategic plans is lacking. My last 10 years in Yorubaland (Giving back) was traumatizing! We can still re-strategize and claim back YorubaLand, Oodua Heritage! Yes we can, Yes we will.
Focusing on what concerns Yorubas and knowing our limits is germane to actualization of our set goals
Am happy we are witnessing a new turn around in our time. A new beginning! A new Season! I pray God will encompass us. Ile Yoruba ( mother earth) yoo la enu gba awon ota mi pata porongodo. Ase Edumare.
This is long overdue. But I want to commend and appreciate all the organisers of this laudable initiative and I believe the Yorubas will achieve their independence and total liberation without shedding any drop of blood. Eventually, we shall turn out to be a great example for the world to emulate. 5 Gbosas for all the organisers. In unity we shall stand.
The Miracle that takes place at the LATE hour is called “THE LATEST” The Oodua Nation is becoming the “LATEST” miracle of the Decades, We thank God for the Moses of our era whom God is using to LET HIS PEOPLE GO!!!.
I pray for God’s guidance and directions upon our leaders so that the journey will not be a prolonged one.
The power and wisdom to deal with the POLITICIANS AMONGST YORUBAS is needed to defeat the BAD EGGS. I would suggest that;
* Strong Awareness is needed to sensitize our people around the World.
*STRONG Warning is needed to the Politicians that would want to sell us out in this struggle
*ONENESS is needed to succeed. Let the Churches, the Mosques and All Traditional Religions herald the News of LIBERTY; It is time to go home.
May OODUA back us and see us through. (ASE)
GREAT MOVE, GREAT VISION BY OUR LEADERS. May God bless you Sirs/Ma
CONGRATULATIONS to Yoruba Leaders. This is a good step in the right direction. Yoruba shall be victorious by God’s grace. Bravo!!!

Thank God, this is a great move. I also thank those fighting for the cause of Yoruba nation race actualization, may God uphold, bless and keep you. We will continue uphold you all in our daily prayers. Please my one major stand the position of farming now in Yoruba land as a nation, we need to start encouraging our Governor to take mechanise farming as their priority now. God is our strength.
The emancipation of the Odua race is now.
Make ODUDUWA Land great again
Thank you for all the hardwork you have put into this, me and family are support of you. Keep up the good work!
This was how baba wa Awolowo stood up to fight for the freedom of Nigeria and heavenly father supported them.
Today you people has summon courage to do so to Yoruba. Oduduwa a gbe yin o. You efforts shall never be in vain on Jesus name
Good start. We need to sustain the passion and drive. Hopefully I will be at the next meeting. Congrats to all of us,
I ve read some comments on this platform that should not have been there. May I advise discretion in the way we suggest the way forward. If your strategies and stratagems are already known to the other sides, then that is an easy way to achieve an own goal !!! Regards

Odua a gbe wa o. Let us do it together God will help us.
The Northerners don’t really understand developements; there believe that few rich people must be able to feed the poor ones rsonnates with their religion. So they are dragging us back. The only solution is for Odua people to take the mantle of developements themselves.
Praise God
Hallelujah !
The Good Lord that has started His wonderful work on Our Yoruba Nation will perfect it to His own glory in Jesus’s name. Amen
The Lord will perfect the work He started on Yoruba Nation in Jesus’s name. Amen
Could it be that my post is not suitable for this kknd of a platform or why do they censored out my post
Congratulations to all the Yoruba people all over the world. Nigeria as a country was never designed to be great by the British. Sharing same space with those retrogressive killers is sad. Getting of that contraption is all we have be praying for. May God help us to form the Oduduwa country quickly.
Dear Pf. Taiwo Iwarere,
Are we not just wasting our time in a pseudo-slavery because we are being cowards labouring hard under the present Nigerian Constitution put in place by the military stooges of the so called caliphates? It is a sham and not true federalism, and as such, the separate regions should refuse to be governed by it and set up their own separate country’ government.
In the future, we may or not, decide to form a true federalism under say, the name of United of Africa with a weakened central govt to pursue our joint sovereignty and mutual international interests.
True federalism should be nothing less than it is in USA today. Where any state like New York or California can decide when to open up its economy for world trade irrespective of and independent of the weaker Central Govt (controlled by an elected President – presently D Trump). The independent states funds the weaker Central Government for the purpose of forging their mutual interests internationally and for advising the states collectively on legal matters. But the member states reserves the final say, on their self determination, economy, culture and joint sovereignty.
But, Nigerians are just too afraid to speak out what they want and plan towards it, including the Yorubas. The Oyomesi’s of the great Oyo Empire will be very disappointed with us, right now to be blunt.
If we refuse to speak and act, serious poverty and annihilation of our race is rapidly going on, unabated.
We must snap out of slumber, wake up these potential African giant states the Oodua State, Igbo State, set Hausa State free from the shackles that is now shackling all of Nigeria.
Nigerians are trail blazers all over the world, hardworking and diligent, in every known profession and economy, why can’t our states be the same?
First thing first, the target is the present fake Nigerian Constitution, once tackled and disbanded and replaced by one that allows self determination right of the regions and potential cooperation in the future, if the independent regions so wish, good leadership and competitiveness amongst regional independent economies will rout out corruption and inefficiencies, integrity would rule the day, and prosperity would come back to our nations.
We must challenge the present constitution which is not serving all the regions collectively, it is not true federalism (the original goal of the Nigerian Constitution at Independence date) and unfair in the allocation of resources. Thereby aiding corruption, nepotism, loop sided reward of labour, over emphasis on federal characters, taking economic independence away from regional states and many other malpractices.
Meant to type ‘United States of Africa’.
I commend the hard work of everyone involved in the Yoruba nation gaining membership of UNPO. Very well done to you all. Let us know what the next line of action is expected of us all so we can begin to put structures together. I am far away in Boston, Massachusetts, USA.and I am very interested in the overall goal of this Organization and the achievement we are set to get as a indigenous people. Seriously we need to begin to do things on our own. We have been dragged down for too long. Some of us have a very clear idea of how we believe we can get things right, but we were frustrated out with the many barbaric situation in the Nigeria of today. How do we become member(Yoruba World Congress) so we can have our voices heard and participate widely and internationally as the case may be.I am an igbomina man to the core and I want to see things change.Special greetings to prof.Banji Akintoye and my Minister of Defence in the making Aree Onakaknfo,Ibaa Gani Adams
Well done to Prof Banji Akintoye and his team and Everyone involved in the Yoruba Nation gaining membership of UNPO. This has rekindled hope in our hearts. Please note that Our name is not yet listed on the UNPO website. UNPO must update their website and ensure Yoruba Nation is on the list of UNPO member nations, otherwise it is not ‘official’. We are awaiting the launch of Europe Chapter of YWC and United Kingdom Chapter so that noble sons and daughters of Yorubaland can register en-masse ASAP. Long Live Yoruba Nation. God Bless You All.
This is a very commendable first step, the journey is very far though but nevertheless starting out somehow with a definite purpose is the right thing to do.
The organisation need to start getting in touch with the youth in all Yoruba states including Kwara , Kogi and Edo and have a way of making itself known through local governments and establishing forums to regularly lecture everyone as per the goings on within the organisation. In unity we stand…Up Oduduwa State …up Yoruba World Congress….amen
